Rick Raisley, check ISP numbers of this reply of mine; there should be two ISP numbers because I used a library computer at a library yesterday to post this message (my gaming group meets in the cafeteria in that library along with chip), and today I'm using a computer at a different library to edit this message. HeavyMetal Forum Posting Policy rule #16 says, "You may not post libelous or defamatory messages or materials, or links to such materials. You may not post messages or materials that are obscene, violent, abusive, threatening, or designed to harass or intimidate another person.". So why are loginnames such as "Hitman" and "chainsawassassin" not considered threatening. Note that I'm not trying to cause trouble, or thwart either or both of those two from posting; I just want a clarification answer because I'm curious, that's all.

i do not feel threatened.
A Login-Name is neither message nor material.
names are only threatening when there would be a threat to someone or some group.
example: "alaynes slayer" or "killallnonbelievers"
i think both your examples are references to games. a chainsaw is a weapon in the game "DOOM"

lets ban chess, its about killing a King. the term "checkmate" comes from persian "shah mat"-"the king is dead"

Battletech is a WARgame, this sets the Limits rather high.
If this was a Forum about the teletubbies i would agree with you, but it is not.

The names are fine.

End of discussion.

We all play games with 'Mechs such as the Assassin. Alayne you're just making it hard on yourself, and you wonder why we react.
