I have for months not needed to log-in everytime I visit the HM forums because I flagged the keep me logged in checkbox on the log-in page. Of course I'm using the office computer.

Now every time I pull up the forums I have to log in. Has something changed at the HM forums? All the other forums I visit that use cookies and are stay logged in capable are working the same as usual so I am wondering if it's the forums and not my office computer.

Nothing has changed, but sometimes it will do that for me, too. In fact, sometimes I'll be logged in, reply to a post, only to find I'm logged off. I ignore it, and usually the next day it's working right.

Well I'll give it a go and see what happens.

If that fails delete the cookie for here, clear your cache, and then log in again choosing the option to keep yourself logged in.

That is the "standard" php login "fix" and that usually clears it up.

Well after several days things seem to be back to normal. I followed your instructions Chihawk and that fixed for a few hours and them things were funny again for another day. But they have been ok all day today, so far. I think I will chalk it up to the College IT Dept. and their...problems.
