==Overview:==
Universal Motors wanted to enter the military vehicle market, but knowing that
it was a hard market to compete in, they went a route that was older then any
of the current vehicles on the market.

They reintroduced the half-track style of vehicle. The idea was to give small
industrial worlds a cheap but effective armored personnel carrier that could
still have some speed and verisitilty as well.

Noting that on several worlds of the Co-Alliance that the half track was an
important first step in making an armored personnel carrier, they hoped that
the historical vaule would help sales.

Currently the only real customers have been police forces on several rim
worlds and merc units. But there is hope that sales will go up with the
current fighting in the Vondor Imperium as the Co-Alliance moves more and more
troops to help stop the Karagin push there.
