Nice all-purpose cavalry unit. It can scout, carry troops, has useful speed and firepower, and is tough enough to survive a bit of trouble. It's both very canon, and very usable. Well done.

Fast and well armed.

I can see this being used to plant sapper units or special forces behind enemy lines...maybe that variant would mount ECM instead of the BAP or better yet the AMS as the BAP would be an asset in covert ops.

This version works for 3050 on and well as 2750.

Please post your take on a 3025 L1 version...

In my head I'm seeing more armor, and SRM-4...

I would put something in the front. Probably the ML. I really don't like having all of my weapons in one place.

Yes a L1 version strips the L2 stuff, ups the armor and goes to a SRM4 and has a SRM2 as well...

Interesting idea for a variant, ECM in place of the BAP.

I love it, simple and effective without blowing the budget to badly. I do get a WW2 desert rat sort of feel to it. Run raids behind the lines causing havoc where ever it goes. Sort of like the SLDF era Hussar.

It's a bit big but, then again, it carries a full platoon. That calls for some elbowroom you're not going to get at 15 or 20 tons. :)

The weaponry's nice. Solid laser firepower (goes well with fuel-independent fusion engine!) with the hunt-n-peck of Streaks. Twin Streak-2s are more likely to do some damage than one Streak 4, so nice call there.

With its payload of infantry, I might trade the BAP for an ECM suite, but you could make mixed units at the lance level.

On the infantry point, I was thinking more heavy weapons squads and such, but if a full platoon fits then I guess this what can go in there...normally I don't try to make APCs with that kind of room.

Streaks missiles are good things to have on vehicles...

Whew...enough speed and armor to make it a combat unit as well as a Battle Taxi. This gives the Maxim a run for its money. Well, actually, it leaves the Maxim behind....

Now there is an interesting selling point...I need to refluff this one.
