This is an old design of mine, so I thought I would improve it a little and provide an illustration. Don't quite have fluff yet...

==Overview:==
   The Karyudo started as an experimental design idea by Lutien armor works, looking for a light 'mech capable of carrying relatively immense firepower while maintaining the speed of its weight class. The 'mech stayed in development hell for years, due to a lack of lightweight building materials or a significant way to make space more readily available for such a mech. After the renaissance of technology the Clan invasion engendered, however, the Karyudo seemed more and more attainable. By 3055 its first test models were being fielded on Luthien, and it reached full deployment in the Draconis Combine two years later.

Love the artwork; did you do that yourself? I've lost my old drawing skills through lack of use...

The design is interesting. It has a minimum range on the PPC's, but it also has plenty of speed to help dictate the range, so that isn't really a problem. It looks very canon. I like it, and I would use it in a game. Well done.

Other thought: imagine a modernized version of this Mech with two SNPPC's, C3 slave and another ton of armor...vicious.

No one would ever drive a Panther again.

Twin LPLs would also be fun with that speed. This is basically what I want the Clan Puma to do...

Quad Light PPCs backed with 4 ERSLs, or 2 ERML

4 LPPC and 4 ERSL could be interesting. I kinda like the "two big guns" arrangement though.

Light PPCs could make this an interesting harasser, but you end up doing about the same, just fewer big holes in things.

Bump because I remembered this design, tried it in a game and have copied it into my files. Nasty little bugger it is...
