What the Hell are you talking about? Lyran scout 'Mech is Commando. I can get few references, but I recommend you to go through HMP files (COM-2D)

It's a running joke that the Lyrans run a ultra-heavy Mech corps. Even made it into one of the Jihad books. Jihad Hot Spots 3072, pg 23 to be exact. My sig is part of the quote.

I know it's been joked about, but that's just it: joke. Majority of Lyran 'Mech regiments aren't even nearly as heavy as Tyr regiment. I could bet that in 3025 Defiance factory in Furillo cranks out more Locusts than what factories in Hesperus II put out all the assault 'Mechs together... are there any definitive numbers available?

I think I recall in the old, old House books that there were listings of the number of factories, by type of 'Mech produced and location, for each House discussed in specific books. You might wanna check there.

Interesting design.

I like that it uses a LFE 320, (Normally I'm not a fan of the LFE) its one of the few sizes I think fits well where a SFE or XL don't always get the job done better. (Much like the 400 & 275 series)

That is just nasty. I would probaby drop one Light, and a couple of DHS for ERMLs to cover the point blank, but that is nasty.
