Interesting.
I can see someone mass producing these for Garrison Duties and Mercenaries. And it's level 1 tech which is a rarity these days (see CBT designs, most are level two or three, one is the rarest tech level in my mind)

Large laser with twin medium backups, one of the more common choices for this kind of weight range. Phoenix Hawk, Watchman, etc and the SRM 4 is definitely a step up from the machine guns generally seen on designs.
Still has decent speed, although mechs under 45 tons should be at 97kph or above (the little things are BUILT around speed, the jump jets make up for it a bit.
Well armoured for a little thing.
Also pretty cheap.

Swords Rating:

4 out of 5.

Looks like a great lvl 1 low end medium. The speed is a little low, but it can still work as a flanker/screening mech, or support lighter/faster units well. The extra armor lets it beat up on slightly faster mediums loke the Clint, Hermes II, and Vulcan. Are you looking to upgrade?

Yes and no, I am trying to keep some "older" style mechs around but still keeping the idea that they will be upgraded as time goes along.
