I was able to search without a problem.
I just made another search with keyword
goldfish, and results include
Stoopid 'puters IX that has no goldfish, gold or fish on it.
To track problem down further, I made search list individual posts. Under

Chihawk, how do you expect him to keep his post count up otherwise... (j/k)
Mo, run a chkdsk/r on the "no OS" machine, 2000 is notorious for "losing" sys32.dll if there's an unexpected powerdown, a likely event for that many older machines.
The machine with both Hdd's "packed" take a Hdd from another machine, and install it as a slave on IDE-2, the one your cdrom/cdrw is on. If you have 2 optical drives on there already, ask yorself "why". Unless that machine is a dedicated duplicator of cd's, utalize the extra IDE port to mount another drive.
sounds like #2 and #4 need a chkdisk/r, and/or a reinstall of their respective OS's.
yank the modem from #4 and goodle it's model number to get a newer driver, and load that. If that doesn't fix it, canabalize a card from another machine and repeat until you have it online too.
Another option is put one machine online, set it to share its internet connection, and connect all your gear through an old 10/100 switch (you can get a 16 port at staples for like 30-40 bux) so they get their internet from the one machine online constantly.
It's normaly how you get to the internet through faster connections, but it'll work for 56k.

Okay #5 is a Win 95 machine 166MHz proccessor 32 megs RAM I was using it to download stuff becuase it still has HD space. I tried to reininstall Win 95 in it without success.
I tried to install a third HD in this one a 4.3 gig ...It's not recognizing it. I was trying to reinstall Windows in my #1 when I discovered mi idiot brother neglected to send me the malfing activativation code and he's messed his back up so he can't look for it....Bloody twit. I'm going to try to play with that modem later it's an external and right now the HP is on the middle of the table agains the wall and it's a bit of a pain to get to the back of it.
I have a drawer full of modems that need drivers.
$30-$40 is like the national debt to me right now
And Chihawk ...Chainsaw is right it's a good way to keep my post count up.
THHP!
I wonder, what makes search see anything goldfishy on that...
